While working in the field of child welfare, our founder left her full-time job to found 412 Foster Project in hopes to close the service gaps in mental health treatment and create additional and desperately needed support for children and families.
412 Foster Project firmly believes if we are addressing the issues facing children and families then we are addressing just about every other social issue. It is our mission to support children and families with a focus on families involved in foster care as well as vulnerable children and families experiencing poverty.
Jenna has an extensive educational background including an undergraduate degree in Social Work/Human Services, an MBA, MSW, a certification in Public Administration, and is currently working on her doctorate degree at. All of her social work education is heavily focused on the study of trauma and its effects on the body.

With 10 years of experience in the field, including work with The Children’s Institute, Allegheny County Jail, and Western Psych, Jenna decided to pivot her career and begin to create real systemic change in the areas of women's health, education, and child welfare.
