"May this tireless worker of mercy help us increasingly to understand that our only criterion for action is gratuitous love, free from every ideology and all obligations, offered freely to everyone without distinction of language, culture, race or religion"

Pope Francis

Little connectors

An Inclusive Half-Day Social Group at 412 Rec Center

Little Connectors is a gentle, half-day social group created for young children to grow in connection, confidence, and belonging through play.

Rooted in Catholic values of mercy, dignity, and service to the community, Little Connectors welcomes children of all abilities into a supportive, relationship-centered environment. We believe every child is created with inherent worth and deserves a place where they are known, welcomed, and loved.

All abilities welcome

This program is designed for children who may benefit from:

  • smaller group settings
  • predictable, calming routines
  • play-based social interaction
  • patient, strengths-based adult support

Little Connectors is not a traditional preschool or academic program. Our focus is on social-emotional growth, peer relationships, and joyful participation — not milestones, performance, or comparison.

Families may choose the rate that best fits their situation:

  • Community Rate: $55/session
  • Sustaining Rate: $65/session
  • Supporter Rate: $75/session (helps fund scholarships)

*Choosing a higher rate helps ensure Little Connectors remains accessible to all.*

Our Commitment to Access

412 Rec Center is committed to ensuring that cost is never the sole barrier to participation.

A limited number of sliding-scale spaces and scholarships are available for families who need financial support.
